The MED Transport Center/ MEDCoach provides medical transportation for the elderly, disabled, and patients in need of medically supervised relocation. Our patients are in need of long distance medical transportation to hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers and hospice facilities. Each of our MedCoach transports are designed to meet the needs of our clients during these non-emergency trips. Each medical coach possess a large number of amenities for the effective, comfortable and caring travel of patients. The coach's size greatly contributes to a smoother and more comfortable ride for the patient and their traveling companions.

Each MedCoach comes staffed with a Private Transport Nurse. The coaches come equipped with wheelchair and stretcher lifts for the ease of entering and leaving the MedCoach. The interior of the coach allows for a hospital type adjustable bed with patient bed rails for patient safety during their trip. The MedCoach includes a private bathroom to use instead of loading and unloading a patient to use a public restroom. Couches and/or recliner chairs for patients not in need of a hospital bed are always available to make their travel the most comfortable possible.

Our non-emergency medical transportation services are appropriate for patients with chronic illnesses including by not limited to stroke patients, cancer patients, patients with chronic lung and heart conditions, Alzheimer's patients and patients with dementia.

Please note the patient being transported must be stable and not require advanced life support or critical care ambulance transportation services. MEDCoach medical transportation company provides non-emergency medical transportation only. Long distance medical transportation is provided by medical coach. MEDCoach presently does not provide patient transportation services by medical van or stretcher van.

Travel Companions

Patients often wish to have a travel companion with them and the MedCoach option gives our clients the ability to have a loved one accompany them. The coach comes equipped with entertainment options and appliances such as a television, a dvd player, a refrigerator and a microwave for the patient and their travel companion to use during the trip. In addition, the MedCoach has the capability of towing a vehicle or a trailer for the travel companions independence once arriving at the destination.
