Air Ambulance Medical Transportation

MED Transport Center arranges air ambulance transportation direct from our communication center located in Clearwater, Florida. The medically equipped aircraft are staffed by medical teams made up of a Flight Nurse and a Paramedic or Respiratory Therapist. A Flight Physician may be added to your team as needed or if requested.

On-Site Medical Control in the COM Center: A board certified emergency physician and flight physician with 24 years of air ambulance experience works and oversees day-to-day operations. Medical direction and consultation is available 24 hour a day.

All International Air Ambulance Providers meet equivalent U.S. standards which include:

• Medical Team: Experienced and trained in Aviation Medicine.
• Medical Stretcher: Certified FAA, or equivalent to the country e.g. CAA, JACCO.
• Medical equipment and Monitors: Cardiac, Respiratory, Pulse Oximetry, BP monitors etc.
• 3-5 yrs. ICU, ER experience with flight medicine training.
• ACLS, Flight Nurse, Respiratory Therapist/P-EMT, and flight physicians/ intensivist.
